THAT is a good question.
Before we all get too carried away, lets consider who desperately wants and NEEDS the wars to escalate. (Besides Hamas, that is...)
Given recent history, I can’t help but wonder whether we had any CIA assets in the area.
Audio Analysis: Based on the video, we can hear what the Hamas missiles and a JDAM missile sound like. Then, we have the audio of the attack on the hospital, and it sounds very similar to a JDAM missile. Hamas does not have the infrastructure and capabilities to fire a JDAM.
A JDAM kit converts a dumb bomb into a smart bomb. It is a guidance system attached to a dumb bomb. What is a JDAM missile?

That’s quite an explosion for a hospital. Sure there weren’t munitions being stored there or maybe a bomb was set off deliberately by Hamas? Maybe not a missile at all.

That “Marine Corps veteran analysis” was created by a rabid anti-Semite named Lucas Gage who spews incredible Jew hate every day on X. The explosion at the hospital was miniscule next to what an MK-82 or JDAM would have caused. The OSINT analysis demonstrates how the rocket motor malfunctioned and then separated from the warhead, producing a small explosion away from the hospital, and then the warhead detonating in the hospital’s parkng lot, igniting a fuel tank and truck explosion that likely resulted in most of the casualties (the building itself is mostly intact)

2nd vid is a different incident than the vids showing the rocket initially on a more normal trajectory and then malfunctioning / breaking apart.
In both videos, my reply 93, the missile/rocket does not break up - there is no explosion until hitting the target.

Thank you for that information. My gut impression is that a missle with a trajectory like that is usually a manpad or the like homing on a plane. So it wasn’t that.
But homemade rockets, with nozzles that are imperfectly or cheaply made, can burn through the side of the nozzle causing the rocket to deviate wildly from its course.
I thought from the very beginning it was a Hamas rocket killing their own people, though I did find it difficult to orient off the video via the landmarks.
But Hamas, like Leftists the world over, including those in the USA in government and elsewhere, never like to let a crisis go to waste, so they try to make lemonade out of their lemons.
The North Vietnamese Communists did the same thing.
