If the Speaker is opposed, along with a majority of his members, a Discharge Petition is destined to fail.
I guess I am missing something because if 218 are willing to sign the petition and vote to bring it to the House floor, I don’t see how the Speaker can stop it.
212 Dems and there are dozens of Swamp Repubs who are totally controlled by the Military Industrial Complex.
