The holy shrines of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, and his brother Ahmad bin Mousa (AS), known as Shah Cherag, in Shiraz, southern Iran, hoisted black flags on the occasion of Muharram, the month of mourning for Imam Hussian’s (AS) martyrdom.
