The numbers on the ground in Gaza just don't compute, and make this a bad move.
Israel is just going to have to take the hit, bury their dead, mourn their dead and improve their security for the future.
Getting more guys killed for some sort of futile revenge that doesn't conquer Gaza would be worse than doing nothing.

Israel is waiting to see what the Pentagon will do in terms of sending troops. Of course, they'll be called "advisors."
That's why Netanyahu made a phone call to Biden that he will send in ground forces to take out Hamas. If he was sure of this, he would have just gone ahead and do it rather than 2nd-guessing himself under the guise of informing the U.S. of Israel's plans.
A wiser choice - but it would be the end of Bibi and Likud.
It would help to explain why the terrorist are being so evil.

I was wondering why they would broadcast date and time of their planned attack. Now I think it was only to see their enemy movements, etc. That might help the attack by Israel.
