I’ve edited news interviews for years. You can make someone look as good or as bad as you want to. Go back and look at the video again. The lighting is extremely soft and even. It is shot from a lower angle to make him look larger and more authoritative. Pelley is historically capable of asking hard hitting questions that make politicians squirm and he was lobbing meatballs at him. They did all this and with all that and some of the best editors in the world, and he STILL looked this bad? This stroonz is beyond done.

I noticed the “interviewer was noodling yes or no as he asked questions. Joes eyes squinted when he answered as if reading note cards or a teleprompter. It was pathetic.

IIRC Obama had his own video and still camera crews in the White House and traveling with him wherever he went. I do not recall Obama’s meetings in the White House with another head of state where cameras were clacking with a loud sound throughout and with boom mics in the pictures. I do not know why Trump allowed that.

After all of Trump’s experience with the media, and being on TV, he had to know how to get more control of the situation. I am afraid that his enjoying the challenge of sparring with the media kept him from seeing these bad visuals.
