Armenia's ambassador to the European Union, Tigran Balayan, said in an interview published on October 6 that Azerbaijan was actively preparing an invasion within weeks.
But on October 11 Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told Armenian Public TV that that risk was "extremely low," and that there was no military buildup on either side of the border.

Well, the world’s community of nations is letting the Azerbaijanis get away with their ethnic cleansing of Armenians so they’ll likely see if they can carry it further.

Turkey and Azerbaijan already have a common border. It is approx. 17 km long. The border is located at the southeastern tip of the Iğdır Province on the Turkish side and at the northwestern tip of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (an exclave and integral part of Azerbaijan) on the Azerbaijani side.

They want to complete the Zangezur corridor, which not only connects Azerbaijan to it’s southwestern exclave of Nakhichevan, but will run from Russia to Baku, through eastern Azerbaijan, then through Armenia to Nakhichevan, and finally into Turkey. It will also be a part of China’s Belt and Road, and is likely to bring significant money flow. If Armenia refuses, then Iran has also made offers to build the corridor through Iran, bypassing Armenia altogether.

So now I wonder why the Azeris would supposedly attack Armenia now that Nagorno-Karabakh is back under their control.
