I can’t make sense of your weirdness and contradictory ramblings.

Here is your current chickenhawk definition “Oxford Dictionary, “a person who speaks out in support of war yet has avoided active military service.”

That is fine with me.

Actually, I posted that too early, “active” would ignore Reserves and the National Guard like George W and would only mean those who served on active duty so I will stick with the American meaning.

If you will recall, this entire discussion started with your objection to post 14 by glorgau, “Original member (along with Dick Cheney) of the Chicken Hawks foreign policy club.”

This was a completely appropriate and typical example of the well understood term “Chicken Hawk”. Yet you went off on a tangent in your zeal to stick up for Lindsey Graham and scolded others, calling them “ignorant”, etc...

You are trying to “win” an argument over the usage of a commonly used slang term using technicalities that do not apply to the gist of the meaning. In the process you are confusing yourself and wasting a lot of effort trying to control the usage of a term for which Lindsay Graham is a poster boy.

This is as silly as "woke" persons trying to control the usage of pronouns.

Little Lindsey is like an obnoxious, yapping little chihuahua. All yap and no bite... and so cowardly that you really want to pick him up by his ears and drop kick him several feet in the air in the vain hopes that it might shut him the hell up for a few minutes.

I did run across an essay which gave a definition that fits better with the commonly accepted meaning.

“A “chickenhawk,” then, is someone who vigorously endorses a war and its sacrifices while diligently avoiding those sacrifices himself.”

https://www.e-ir.info/2014/10/07/the-chickenhawk-argument/

Lindsay Graham was technically a member of the military serving as a lawyer in the Air Force, but he never made any of the sacrifices that people normally associate with war.

On internet forums and in gender discussions I like to use the currently in vogue Alice in Wonderland approach to language:

“When I use a word... it means just what I choose it to mean “ ;-)

Technically, as an Air Force officer, sure.

Something that I am very sure of watching your mind meandering around in incoherent certainty is that you have definitely interacted with mental health professionals as a patient.

Thank you for the constant nasty attempts to be insulting... if you did not keep it up, I would presume that you were having some type of serious problem.

It was an observation and one that I am certain of.
