@PGR88: One would think so, but the leaders in Iran are pushing for a policy aiming for Iran/Shia hegemony in the Middle East. That entails rivalry with both Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Part of that rivalry is played out as being the power most involved in the military (aka: terrorist) fight against Israel.
