Were Joe Biden’s classified memos valuable to Hunter’s clients? Congress wants to know

Nearly a year after the American public was informed that Joe Biden had classified documents at his home and think tank office, lawmakers in Congress have a pressing question: Was there anything in those memos valuable to his son Hunter’s overseas business clients?

The issue catapulted to prominence recently when House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, R-Ohio, showed up at the House Oversight Committee’s first impeachment inquiry hearing and said there was real reason to fear that Hunter Biden’s clients had an interest in the memos that Joe Biden improperly secreted away at his home and office.

“Obviously, his son was receiving payments from Romania, Russia, Ukraine, China," Turner said last month. "If there are in those documents that relate to, for example, the prosecutor in Ukraine or Burisma itself or other aspects of Ukraine or any of the parties or individuals obviously, that were making payments to Hunter Biden, that would be relevant, wouldn’t it?"

In my opinion, I think it is past time to stop calling it "Hunter's business" and start calling it the "Biden family businesses". The entire family was involved and the entire family benefited financially. As shown by the emails released thus far, Joe's name was deliberately kept out of documents just to avoid extra scrutiny.

I suspect the documents were at Biden's home not only so that Hunter only would have access to them, but that Joe Biden would have access to them in his spare time when he was coordinating his illicit and corrupt foreign business deals. I suspect similar documents could be found even now at his Delaware home. Too bad we have no idea who visits there on his long vacation weekends.

Former President Donald J. Trump called out the Biden Administration Monday after the Biden White House and Biden Secret Service claimed that there are no guest logs from Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, residence, where his personal attorneys have discovered classified documents.

In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump dubbed Biden’s garage, where classified material was discovered next to his cherished Corvette Stingray last week, “flimsy” and “unsecured” before painting a contrast with Mar-a-Lago. .

“Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!” Trump wrote, seemingly suggesting he has kept much better visitor records than Biden has.

As Breitbart News reported, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), penned a letter to White House chief of staff Ron Klain on Sunday calling for the release of the visitor logs from Biden’s Wilmington home, where classified documents were found in two locations after the initial discovery of classified papers at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, DC. .

It is troubling that classified documents have been improperly stored at the home of President Biden for at least six years, raising questions about who may have reviewed or had access to classified information….Given the serious national security implications, the White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log. As Chief of Staff, you are head of the Executive Office of the President and bear responsibility to be transparent with the American people on these important issues related to the White House’s handling of this matter.

So far, Joe Biden, nor has Hunter, received criminal charges for mishandling of classified documents.

Meanwhile, vindictive Biden’s DOJ has mercilessly prosecuted Trump, the president’s primary political opponent and GOP front-runner for the 2024 election, for Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents.

Yet, unlike Trump, then VP Biden did not have power to declassify documents because he was merely vice president.

The Federalist’s ace reporter, Margot Cleveland, reports that the Penn Biden Center (where some classified documents were found), “is located at a busy D.C. office building that spanned some 10 stories and included numerous public areas, including a reception area on the roof that hosted weddings and other private events.” Others were found in his Delaware garage.

By contrast, “Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home was private and protected by the Secret Service.”

Republicans need to talk to Eric Schwerin since emails from Hunter’s hard drive show Schwerin moving money on behalf of Joe and Hunter while helping the latter handle family expenses. Schwerin received Joe Biden’s “Delaware tax refund check” while he was vice president and he and Hunter talked by phone about Joe Biden’s mortgage.

Schwerin emailed Hunter saying he would put monies from Joe Biden’s income tax refund into Hunter’s account because “he owes it to you.” Democrats recently acknowledged Schwerin handled Joe Biden’s finances up until til the end of his VP tenure.

In February 2014, Hunter advised Schwerin to describe himself as a “close confidant and counsel” to his VP dad. The NY Post reported that Eric Schwerin was involved in the transfer of Joe Biden’s Senate papers to the U of Delaware in March 2010 — which may have included “sensitive” and “classified” documents.

By December 2017, Hunter had fallen out with Schwerin and attempted to cut ties with him.

HUNTER UNLEASHED “I terminated you as an at will employee for gross negligence. Also if you continue to sit with friends of mine and relationships that are mine and defame me I will sue you for defamation of character and embezzlement and for the debt with you still have not contributed your supposed 25% share of,” Hunter wrote on Dec. 12, 2017. “ … We are no longer just done as business partners you should consider moving to somewhere in Florida I’ll never go. Naples is perfect you can live in perpetual time share with your parents and talk about what a horrible person I am.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Yup. That’s the only reason Joe had documents in his possession that he was not cleared to have and were only available in a SCIF. IMHO, he secreted them out of DC and monetized them for his own benefit by taking them home and to his office for Hunter to use in his influence peddling schemes with foreign entities. Much worse than Trump’s documents case where Trump was cleared to have them as President and could declassify them and was only interested in them as a momento.

Joe Biden on Friday evening made a mysterious trip to his Delaware home for a few hours and the White House refuses to say why. Earlier Friday a reporter asked White House spox Olivia Dalton: “What’s the reason for the president’s trip to Delaware this afternoon?” “The president is making a brief stop at home,” Oliva Dalton told reporters aboard an Air Force One gaggle on Friday.

Biden spent a few hours in Philly speaking to a crowd at the Tioga Marine Terminal where he tripped up a small stairway. After a couple of hours in Philly, Joe Biden arrived to New Castle, Delaware at 4:55 pm ET. He then departed 3 hours later at 7:55 pm ET and headed back to the White House. What did Joe Biden do at his Delaware home for 3 hours?

Marine One costs approximately $20,000 per hour and Air Force One costs $177,843 per hour, according to Department of Defense documents. Biden’s frequent trips and vacations to Delaware have cost US taxpayers well over $15 million.
