Wray has almost always gone the wrong Wray on the issue of domestic terrorism. How he ever got to the top is beyond me.
Just found the names of top FBI agents I worked with. Wray will never be half the man each was. They knew who the enemy was and did something about it, not needing to create a bogeyman in order to be so politically correct.
When John Gotti said about a target who was about to be killed, “Send them on a vacation to Jersey”, he meant New Jersey. Wray would think he meant the Isle of Jersey in England and would tell the Brits that “the Americans are on their way”.
Wray also thinks that anyone who puts out a white sheet on a clothesline to dry is automatically a member of the KKK.
By the way I wonder if Wray ever went undercover at a Klan/American Nazi rally. I did. Very interesting, as the German soldier character on “Laugh In” would say.
I also wonder if he ever dodged a communist ambush?
Just asking?
Wray, always too little, too late. Thank God some of the field office leaders and agents are on the ball and deserve an earned “thank you” for doing the job right.
