Jordan’s not going to get the nod.

On Sept. 27 Andy Biggs amendment to decrease Ukraine funding was defeated. All Democrats voted against it, and Republicans rejected it 117-104. (Not coincidentally 113 reps voted against Jordan in the first go-round.)

If the majority of the caucus wants to continue funding the Ukrainians how does an opponent to it get picked? It’s certainly one of the biggest issues facing the House in the near term and he’s on the wrong side arithmetically.

I’m NOT stating a position on the issue but merely pointing the reality of the battleground for the speakership.

Good point...And another point of reality resides in the fact that if five Rinos vote with the Rats, we could have anybody as the speaker.
