The CFPB is financed by The Federal Reserve, so that Congress cannot shut it down - but it issues federal regulations with the force of law. There’s a Supreme Court case on this...and hopefully we win, otherwise, what’s to stop Soros from financing his own federal agency (in addition to the Department of Education, of course).

Suppose SCOTUS does rule that congress can shut down CFPB. Somehow I don't think RINOs will allow it.
