Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis railed against former President Trump for calling the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah “very smart” and criticizing Israel.
“Terrorists have murdered at least 1,200 Israelis and 22 Americans and are holding more hostage, so it is absurd that anyone, much less someone running for President, would choose now to attack our friend and ally, Israel, much less praise Hezbollah terrorists as ‘very smart,'” DeSantis wrote Wednesday in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

No he didn’t intend to help israel by saying it. He is pissed at Bibi and has felt personally slighted by him for 3 years. (Trump even said as much last week). So he had the chance to take a shot at Bibi because his pride had been demanding it for a long time. It’s all about Trump. Always is.

It never seems to occur to Trump that when he bashes good people like this... at the worst possible timing... just because he’s got a petty peeve with them over something... he loses voters and supporters. Considering that he’s going to need every single one of them, it’s strange that he does this. It’s like he couldn’t care less. Almost like he doesn’t really expect to win anyway. Weird.
