They don’t like Israel very much, but they dislike Hamas even more so they probably have something to gain if Hamas is decimated... and Israel has been very well positioned defensively in that region. Hezbullah is very, very good on defense, but offense is a different game.
This is one thing the West seems to struggle with. The Islamic terrorist’s groups are not allies. They may play propaganda games claiming to support each other but they are competitors. Each wants to lead the extermination of Israel. They don’t want the other group to win any victories. So it more likely they will sit back and watch Hamas get pounded for a while. What we seeing right now is a typical terrorist war of nerves. They doing their normal harassment attacks knowing in the current situation it going to have a magnified effect
