A Republic like no other.....

End the queer, woman and diversity tokenism....100% blind merit metrics vs a job based performance standard.

Do not even track race/sex/whatever anymore.....everybody...everybody is blue or green.

A 2.5 war vs peers Navy.

Big expeditionary naval air arm also in charge of space and strategic bombing and nuclear strike forces.....Space and AF rolled into Navy....

Current sized Marine Corps for overseas garrisons.

Small cadre professional army to enable a conscription levee en masse of pre-trained men/women for North American defense only.

High school ROTC/RNCOTC programs mandatory for graduation.

100% Conscription into National Guard for 2 years full time public projects and Border Patrol/FEMA/Peace Corps use....ie replace lots of career Federal workers.

Two days a month, two weeks a year service until 45yoa. Lots of tax breaks and exemptions.

At age 45, transfer to State Defense Forces on a volunteer basis until 65 w/o reserve pay, but a 100% tax exemption for providing own equipment.

Disarm all Federal agents except Marshals and protective detail Secret Service....must use state armed LEO’s

Fed agents or active duty DoD under arms....prima facia treason, shoot on sight for a bounty.

End the Empire.....control the seas for a mandatory assessed fee.....

The US would be the largest pool of militarized manpower in history.....a great foreign exchange generator as overseas privateers sent their money home.

A warrior nation of warrior tribes.
No better path to security of a Free State.

A standing army the bane of liberty.

But, what do I know?

"a military academy that now promotes anti-white racism, communist-style self-criticism sessions for white cadets, transgenderism, discriminatory entry requirements, and race-over-merit promotions"

The USA is in an advanced state of decay. It is the decadence of Western Civilization in America.

America's enemies are exploiting this decadence to destroy the USA. When the USA is sufficiently weakened by internal destruction, they will attack. It will be far worse than the recent attack on Israel. It may happen sooner than one might expect.

No power on earth could have destroyed the mighty USA. It could only be destroyed from within.

Some of those responsible for the destruction are merely unaware of what's happening, lulled into a false sense of security by many years of comfort and wealth.

Some are useful idiots.

Some hate the USA and have always wanted to destroy it.

Some are greedy predators who intend to profit from the fall of the USA and are perfectly willing to sell every man, woman, and child in America into slavery for profit. The wealth and power concentrated in Washington is a magnet for them. Such people have always salivated at the thought of seizing America's vast wealth and power for themselves, but, in the past, the USA was too healthy; however, in the decadent period of Western Civilization, they see a real chance of fulfilling their evil dreams.

Donald Trump understood all this decades ago. He was--and still is--determined to save the USA from destruction.

The useful idiots, those who hate the USA and intend to destroy it, and the greedy predators have done everything possible to stop him.

They have proven willing to destroy America and scorch the earth if they must to prevent him from reversing the decadence, saving the USA from destruction, cleaning up Washington, and making America great again.

If America continues on the path to self-destruction--if America falls--the fault will lie directly upon the America People.

It is they alone who have the power to save the USA and return America to ascendancy.

If they fail to do that, America will fall.

The recent attack on Israel will pale in comparison to what will happen to the American People.

The fall of America--and its consequences--are too horrifying to contemplate.

Will the American People awaken and come to their senses in time to save themselves and their children? Only time will tell--and time is growing short. We'll know soon enough.

In all fairness, even in the early 1980’s, West Point officers generally hid the fact when they were on active duty, because the enlisted perception of them was as “incompetent martinets”.

And since the overwhelming majority of officers came from ROTC programs and OCS (enlisted promotion), there was no grace given to anyone who was either a “slacker-slob” or a “hardass” who didn’t know his job and didn’t respect others.

So no wearing of West Point rings while on active duty, unless you wanted to get dumped on from all directions.

The overall impression was that West Point could only ruin good officer candidates, so was actually counterproductive.

My only direct contact with West Point was riding against them in the old collegiate circuit.

You drew your horse's name out of a hat 10 minutes before the class. That's entertaining when you're a reckless young college sophomore and have been riding since you were 6.

But WP went over the line by bringing a rank half-broke mare and putting her into the hat. I drew her for a jumping class. She was a Very. Bad. Actor. First sight of her, she was dancing around the warmup paddock on her hind legs with two men hanging off her bridle.

We had a bit of a discussion in the warmup circle, and she decided that it was easier just to mind me - but she attempted to run away throughout the course. Never mind equitation- safety seat, hands high, float her teeth on landing. We made it around the course with no faults and took fourth place.

But I found out later I was the only rider who had stayed on her back - and many of the teams had novice riders. It really bordered on criminal negligence to bring a horse like that to a collegiate show.

Never had the same respect for West Point after that.

That’s not surprising.

It’s broken beyond repair.

The fools will feel the pain and most won’t understand why.

Better to train all future officers at colleges. We know that program today as ROTC.

Unfortunately, there are courses of study that no college will offer as it's just not viable for the few graduates who would go into the military.

Conversely, recruiting students into a few large non-DoD military colleges such as Norwich University (VT), The Citadel (SC), Texas A&M University, Virginia Military Institute, Virginia Tech, or the University of North Georgia still isn't the answer.

One distinction between college students and cadets at the service academies is that cadets at the academies have signed the line. They're not civilians.

Arguably the academies would be better served by getting rid of the liberal arts programs and returning to military studies. If they have to shrink enrollment, so be it.

There are two routes in the Army to becoming an officer - West Point and the officer candidate school. But the problem in either case is that the whole DOD has been gradually infiltrated with Leftists.

LOL, my alma mater was more conservative than West Point, but that was 50 years ago (Gonzaga).

“...All that began to change in the mid-1980s, when West Point transitioned to a liberal arts institution offering degrees in a wide variety of disciplines, ...”

Perhaps Congress needs to investigate who is responsible or that change, and why. It seems to me the watering down of a single purpose university (military officers) would reflect the watering down military excellence of our nations defense.

Our nations enemies are no doubt overjoyed.

“..Russian army that’s struggling in Ukraine...”

It seems from what all I have read the Russian have provided an example of how build impenetrable defenses. The Russians have several lines of heavily fortified positions with killing fields in-between. If an attack breaches the outer line, the troops defending troops fall back to the second line from the point of attack and then from the fortified positions destroy the attackers from three sides.

I don’t support either side, but I try to follow the war as best I can. As I have posted before, both sides are at fault and two wrongs don’t make a right.

No problem, FRiend. My graduating class was 22 cadets. We had a great group, I was in the middle of the class. Ended up with a 2 star, couple of Colonels. Over half made it through Jump School, about a third earned their Ranger tab.

Liberal Communists ruin everything , don’t they? Who would have even dreamt that our finest military academies would offer gender studies classes and majors? If we don’t turn this around immediately…..it’s over for America.

Perhaps Congress needs to investigate who is responsible or that change, and why.

Congress and the politicians are directly responsible for the change. They were using PC to gain votes from the Leftist side of their constituencies and also advancing their agenda of destroying the USA.

The high ranking military officers understood the civilian politicians were in control but they never did the honorable thing by resigning or retiring and explaining why. They kept their jobs at the Pentagon and all the trappings and went along with the destruction of the military academies.

I once mixed with West Point Cadets who visited my fraternity ΠKA during the 1957 Syracuse-Army football game. I experienced the attention of final-year Cadets as the tac officers while in the Army National Guard NCO School at Camp Smith, on Anthony's Nose, across the river from the Academy, in 1958. I have met some whose bars and integrity was thoroughly tested in the Vietnam war, where many of them came to question their usefulness as leaders of America's moral character.

It was from these observations that my faith in their righteousness was formed, to lead the enlisted class of the Army (and Air Force and Marine Corps as well) to glory.

Now, with this American Thinker article, my confidence is quite eroded.

Upon whom can I trust other than those officers of the past whose fine character has been preserved in their later civilian roles, even unto death?

I have visited Quantico in times when the heroes of Guadalcanal were present and honored while they were yet alive. The MG Commandant came to our table to visit with us for a while, so at least it has been a privilege to briefly associate with such a decorated leader of Real Men.

I have been there again a couple times for significant events for my nephew, a graduate of University of Florida after which he gained his first bar, and also later in his career served on the staff there. My faith in the excellence of our military was sustained there (though being questioned elsewhere), but NOW, TODAY:

Where is Quantico positioned,

and our Beloved Corps, on a scale of absolute fidelity to our Constitution and its merits, in an age of disappointment and death of the characteristics of our Presidential staff who use the Corps and Delta Forces to enforce their policies?

To whom shall we turn in distress for organized protection?

-- A local 2nd Amendment (now forbidden) organized militia?
-- A State Police cadre?
-- A County (elected) Sheriff or (appointed) Police?
-- A local church body assembled for the Coming (Armed) Prince of Peace?
. . . (He will be coming with peace, but not in it; His servants being prepared?
. . . Luke 22:36)
