Suppose a mentally ill homeless person assaults a transgender student. Which side does a progressive teacher take? Decisions, decisions...
A Lefty teachers’ strike would be wonderful. Let them strike long enough that all the private schools, religious and otherwise, and homeschooling folks can absorb the kids into better circumstances, and actually TEACH.
Fresno residents need to ask themselves this: Do you want people who think it’s a good idea to surround schools with encampments of unemployable drug addicts, dope sellers, fentanyl zombies, the mentally ill, ex-cons, etc., to teach the area’s children? The community needs to demand that the school system de-certify this union, stop negotiating with it, and fire any teachers that support bs like this.
Practical questions.
Who provides: toilets, showers, trash collection, emergency medical care, periodic major cleanups, insurance, compensation for children and adults robbed, raped, ruined, murdered, etc. by the homeless (once invited to occupy school property, these “residents” and whatever they do becomes the school system’s legal liability).
Who runs the “campground” and makes sure that the “residents” are not on sex offender registries.
Who checks the “residents” for illegally possessed firearms?
If the resident homeless are caught dealing drugs on school sites, will California law enforcement “confiscate” and sell it like they would private property used for crime?
The worst most insidious teachers union in the US is the LA union. They can walk into Gov Nuisance’s office and get what they want since they pay well for it. They kept the kids out of school long after any threat had been diminished. because the teachers simply didn’t want to go back to the school. They support and advocate any leftist initiative for school kids, gender affirmation, sex ed for elementary, critical race, and so on.
Ten years or so ago a teacher was fired for putting his sperm into cookie dough, baking cookies and handing them out to his students. The union fought tooth and nail that he not be fired.
Another Reason to Homeschool....
These teachers are so stupid they don’t realize THEY park in those parking lots, too, & will have to walk to/from their car every school day, through the feces, needles, & drug zombies. The first time one of them is assaulted, they will be wanting to sue the school for a dangerous work environment.
Do they think the bums will be content to stay in the parking lot & away from the school? Not hardly. How are 2 or 3 (probably unarmed) security guards gonna stop a group of perverts determined to enter the school or attack children or staff?
Finally, the way the Left works, next they will want to allow the homeless access to the lunchroom, restrooms, & showers. After all, don’t the homeless need these things? And these facilities are unused probably 12-16 hours a day. That, of course, leads to finding a naked man or 2 in the showers pleasuring themselves during the school day.
Let them strike. From the test scores, it isn’t like they are teaching anyone anyway...
This article is a good example of what happens when you give in to Leftists...they will ALWAYS come up with new demands, even if totally unrelated. Eventually people start to push back, and then guess what, they’re then considered ENEMIES to the Leftists.
Clearly the access of those migrant invader vermin to children that they have a cultural right to rape & murder is important for the communist-controlled indoctrinators union to support and celebrate...
