I volunteered for the first two doses as part of the Moderna study, knowing there were some risks but seeing an opportunity to help potentially quicken a lifesaving “vaccine” treatment for particularly at risk people such as myself due to age and other factors. It should never have been mandated, and further testing should have been done prior to giving it to younger people - most of whom never should have taken it. Due to a move I had to drop out of the study after 1-1/2 years, and ultimately came down with a variant. I have no plans to take any more shots, don’t see any advantage at this point.
The reason for getting a booster is that immunity to coronaviruses drops significantly within months after vaccination or disease. This is true of coronaviruses that cause the common cold as well as Covid.
The vaccine is an extremely safe way to “remind” your immune system on how to fight Covid. You do not want to catch Covid.
I’ve had the vaccine series with two boosters, and then an “updated” booster. I plan to get the newest booster next month, in time for holiday travel. Immunity reaches its peak 1-2 weeks after a booster and will remain strong for a few weeks.
Don’t believe the antivax fearmongers. There is a reason why they want you to refuse vaccination, and it isn’t because those leftists care about your health.
It turns out that you got a vaccine made by a different process than the one released to the public. The public ones weren’t actually tested. Glad you survived the study.
