The only chance of him taking the spot is if it’s part of some power play to oust Biden. That may be a long shot, but if people were to have predicted such a well co-ordinated attack by Hamas/Iran on Israel a week ago, few would have believed it. We’ve got 12 + months till the election. I suspect we’re going to be witnessing a lot of surprises over that time.
We could be at war by then...or not.
We could also have a massive economic crash...or not.
Things sure seem “more interesting” than usual.
