“The problem I have found is, as Americans and Conservatives, we believe people learn from their mistakes, but Liberals can’t or won’t ever admit their mistakes.”
Good point about never admitting mistakes - I’ve noticed that with people here who post articles on subjects that are later proven to be totally wrong, regarding another major war going on - and then these people comment in agreement on their false articles. They NEVER, EVER, admit they are wrong (it winds up being a dead giveaway as to their motives here).
I suspect it has something to do with them not even wanting to be here and hating the conservatives on this site.
Carpet bombing comes to mind. From the Gaza border to the Mediterranean sea.
They ELECTED Hamas to run the Gaza. They chose poorly.
it’s the US who will have to fight the 87 MILLION people in Iran.
At least 60% of whom agree with US, not the mullahs.
Israel’s fundamental problem is that it is to small in population and area to be secure in the midst of larger Muslim neighbors.
Israel, from the Med to the Jordan River, is only 50 miles wide. From Qiryat Shimona in the north to Be’er Sheva is only 150 miles.
Historically Palestine is an invasion path from the north by Babylonians, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, etc. etc. and by Egyptians from the south. It was not much of a speed bump to Alexander’s army —
>>In the late 330s BCE, Alexander the Great conquered Palestine on his way to Egypt. The conquest was relatively uncomplicated as Persian control of the region had already waned.[123][xlix] Tyre and Gaza were the only cities that did not immediately submit to Alexander[124] who slaughtered their citizens as punishment.

Looks like Gaza will be wiped out again.
I hope so
Good.
New York City
Good.
Boston
Yeah, sure. We've seen that lie before, in Afghanistan, and in Iraq.
5% of the population of these crapholes clean up real well, wear a suit and a tie, speak reasonable English, and tell us their people are dying for credit cards, Only Fans, and Pride Month, if only we would please send more dollars and more troops.
No thanks. Never again.
Correct.
And their strategic plan appears to be bleating all the time about "UN resolutions" and "rights to exist", which just tells you they haven't solved their existential strategic problem, either.
Tactically, they remain superb. But long run? It's condos in Boca.
OK, fine. Israel's right to defend itself is not in dispute.
That's a shibboleth. What's in dispute is what "supporting Israel's right to defend itself" involves.
I wouldn’t count on that. 40% of the Iranian population still outnumbers Afghanistan and Iraq and the countryside is much much bigger. Are you ready to sacrifice thousands of American lives?
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

I am absolutely not arguing before intervention, just noting that the mullahs oppress their own people.
Gaza invaded Israel. Latter has the right to take over the former’s land in conquest. Expel all the ‘Palis.’ Allow none of them refuge in US, Canada or Europe. Let those countries expressing support for them take responsibility for them. Pakistan and Indonesia each have over 200M muslim citizens. Another 2M co-religionists should fit fine in them alone. If Israel is forced to exit them out she should collect fingerprints, photos etc on all and create a db of ex-Gazans barred from ever entering Israel or the Pali controlled (which needs rethinking also) West Bank.
I beg to differ. We don’t need to fight Israel’s wars, we just need to take the muzzle off Israel and let them take care of business.
The answer is our dependence on Arab oil. We could not allow those oil fields to fall into Saddam’s hands. Trump making the US oil independent had more to do with keeping the peace than all the sabre rattling.
Israel has a golden opportunity to draw the borders of it’s country the way it wants them.
Let people flee to Gaza. Herd the survivors into camps. Destroy every building in Gaza.
