Israel was forced into that position by America. Israel now needs to take things on with her own hands.

Until recently, secular Westernized Jews have had a functional majority in setting Israeli policy, and they believe all the false ideas about war, conflict, the essential commonality of all peoples, the ultimate rule by lawyers and courts that they have been so effective in spreading among the nations which gave them refuge before and after WW II.
For Israel to exist in the space they wish to, they need to do first to their own Arab population and then to the adjacent tribes what was done to the Canaanites and the others by Yahweh's command - except that this same group of people no longer believe in Him.
