There is purpose to their actions—or inaction.
The last intifada was 20 years ago. So they become complacent during a period of relative peace. Then Bibi became the enemy of the state. It's a distraction. But it would explain what happened.

I just disagree.
Firearm ownership in Israel is tightly regulated. Even if you somehow manage to get the permits to own a weapon you are limited to 50 rounds of ammunition. To purchase another 50 rounds you have to turn in the casings of the 50 rounds you expended.
It is very hard to get a firearm permit in Israel.

They do need to re-annex gaza, bulldoze everything single building flat and never allow anything else to be built there (unless of course it is built by Isreali citizens in a secure subdivision).
Give the current residents 1 week notice and then if they don’t move out, it is their own choice to be buried there.
