This must have been a thing in all of western Europe 25-30 years ago. I lived in Germany on and off in the 90s and remember a lot of the same talk about Amerikanische Verhaeltnisse "American Conditions". I found this comical because Americans are on average noticeably wealthier than Germans then and now. That said, yes America has very real problems and had them 30 years ago too. I believe the labor unions in Western Europe meant the deindustrialization that was going full speed ahead in the US in the 90s as well as the flood of illegal aliens and the violence in the big cities. Well fast forward and Europe thanks to Gaia worship, is being deindustrialized faster than the US was even then. Back then Western Europe was overwhelmingly populated by White Christian Europeans. Now they've managed to import a violent crime inclined underclass which hates their societies even while eagerly living on the public dole. Need I even mention America's rates of violent crime were cut in half (even though they've risen the last couple years) since the early 90s while violent crimes have exploded in Western Europe. We in the US certainly don't want European Conditions here. Thus we need to seal the border, deport illegal aliens en masse and lock up violent criminals again. We also need fair trade rather than pure free trade especially with cheaters like China.

The silver-lining of the Iron Curtain is that for the most part, the countries behind it were spared much of this.
Poland gets stronger with time as they have kept their Christian heritage intact.
