I regard Levin as a deep, analytical thinker who is more often than not spot-on with his analysis and positions. But when Levin is wrong, he is
really wrong ... as he is with this matter and as he was throughout the 2016 primaries.
Although once Trump won the nomination in 2016 Levin became one of Trump's strongest supporters -- and remains so -- that he truly believed Ted Cruz, a candidate with strong conservative credentials, would prevail in a national election was breathtakingly wrong-headed and phenomenally politically naive. Had Cruz prevailed, we would have had at least four years -- likely eight years -- of a Mrs. BJ Clinton presidency which, following eight years of the America-/American-hating mulatto-marxist-muslim regime, would have done incredible damage to our constitutional republic.
I remain hopeful that Mark Levin will recover quickly from this momentary emotion-based logical failure and return to doing what he excels at: Defending our Republic from the vicious, determined enemy within.
