I’d prefer a couple of passes by an AC-130 followed up by some A-10’s. Then engage the Marines as long as the Army is there to back them up.

That would be awesome, a spooky gun ship and a warthog. But not as cost effective as a squad of Marines using heavy mortars. To bad we will lose US lives when we don’t have to.
