You just made that up.

There has been no diplomatic contact between Poland and Ukraine since Zelensky's UN speech on 19 September. When Zelensky visited Poland on 23 September, not a single official from Poland's government met him. The Polish foreign minister was a no-show in Kiev for the EU's meeting of foreign ministers on 2 October.

Just show me a reputable source that “”Poland has suspended all diplomatic relations with Ukraine.””

Just show me a reputable source that “”Poland has suspended all diplomatic relations with Ukraine.””

Here a Ukrainian source:

https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/10/2/7422376/

"Zbigniew Rau, Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, has said he did not attend the meeting of the EU foreign ministers because of his poor health and because of the deterioration in the relationship between Poland and Ukraine."

That doesn’t support your claim at all, not even close.

“Poland has suspended all diplomatic relations with Ukraine.”

“It’s not going to be your fundament on the line

on the contrary, if Putin attacks Europe, we will ALL be fighting

that’s why these Russian warmongering threats are so serious”

Save it. What’s this “we” crap? It is always the USA and maybe a Brit brigade. Maybe Poland and any other countries attacked but the rest? Forget it. Article 5 has some huge weasel words in it.

“After Afghanistan, what makes you think the US/NATO is so unbeatable?”

We weren’t beaten. We quit.

Sounds like relations are “suspended” to me.

Why don’t you look the word up in a dictionary?

You mean the way they did in Georgia in 2008?

Georgia began war with Russia, but it was provoked, inquiry finds--1,000-page European Union analysis of South Ossetian conflict points finger of blame at both sides

The first authoritative study of the war over South Ossetia has concluded that Georgia started the conflict with Russia with an attack that was in violation of international law.

But the exhaustive 1,000 page analysis published yesterday by the EU also concluded that Russia was responsible for a long history of provocation in the region and reacted disproportionately.

"Much of the Russian military action went far beyond the reasonable limits of defence," concluded the report.

It also said that there was evidence of widespread ethnic cleansing by South Ossetian forces of Georgian villages within South Ossetia that the Russian Army had failed to stop. And it denied the Russian allegation that the Georgian attack had amounted to a genocide of the Ossetian people.

The conflict cost about 850 lives and left 35,000 people – mostly ethnic Georgians – unable to return to their homes.

Depends on the meaning of 'invade and occupy' I suppose.

The President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, negotiated a ceasefire agreement on 12 August 2008. Russia recognized Abkhazia and South Ossetia as separate republics on 26 August. The Georgian government severed diplomatic relations with Russia. Russian forces left the buffer areas bordering Abkhazia and South Ossetia on 8 October 2008 and the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia was dispatched to the buffer areas. Since the war, Georgia has maintained that Abkhazia and South Ossetia are occupied Georgian territories.

South Ossetia is a small Russian-backed breakaway region inside the internationally recognized borders of Georgia. Moscow recognized South Ossetia as an independent state, along with Abkhazia, also in Georgia, following the brief Georgia-Russia war of 2008. Since then, it has provided the region with financial support, stationed troops in its territory and offered Russian citizenship and other benefits to its roughly 55,000 residents.

Georgia has lost de facto control of these regions. But not many countries aside from a few Russian allies — such as Venezuela, Nicaragua and Syria — and three small Pacific Ocean island states have recognized South Ossetia as an independent state.

Comparing what is going on in Ukraine to what happened in Georgia is a far different level of scale and import. The US state of Georgia is two times the country of Georgia in terms of area and population. And South Ossetia is many times smaller. And Georgia remains an independent country.

They certainly have the ability to roll over the Baltic states and close the Suwałki Gap.

And trigger Article 5 and the involvement of NATO? We are already positioning US tripwire troops in the Baltic states. And what would be the incentive for Russia to initiate such an action?

All of this is war porn. I served in Vietnam. The Domino Theory was used as the rationale for stopping the communist takeover in Vietnam to prevent the entire Southeast Asia from being lost to the commies. Our involvement with advisors started with JFK and this escalated after the pretext of the Gulf of Tonkin incident. LBJ launched a massive use of force that reached over 500,000 people in-country.

The best chronological history of our involvement in Vietnam can be found here: United States in Vietnam 1945-1975 Comprehensive Timelines with Quotes and Analysis

Time to end these endless wars that drain our blood and treasure. They weaken us.
