A hard Alt Leftist? I think the point was to fire the Leftist Speaker, not replace him with worse.
I thought that him going independent was somehow an indication that he was not so much entrenched in leftist dogma.
I am not very politically savvy.
Neither am I an American.
But it almost seems that The Speaker should be an independent.
