After a year and a half of war, Ukraine’s leaders now have a new reason to worry: Mounting political chaos in America is threatening to derail their supply of money and weapons.
Days after lawmakers shelved a vital U.S. plan to send billions of dollars in aid to Kyiv, U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted by his own Republican Party colleagues. Aid to Ukraine was named as one of the reasons.
In Kyiv, officials are at a loss as to what might happen next. Their staunchest military ally suddenly looks unreliable, despite assurances from President Biden and others the U.S. will remain steadfast until Ukraine’s invaders are defeated.
“We are freaking out. For us it is a disaster,” said Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, a senior Ukrainian MP who chairs the committee on the country’s integration with the European Union.

We absolutely know it’s trillions. The Demonrats really played themselves. They had a weak RINO Derper puppet as Speaker who gave them what they wanted (one rating placed him at just barely above 50% Conservative, which is close to being a left-winger). Now it stands that Jim Jordan, who has an over 90% Conservative rating from the same source, could replace him. Or, even more wildly, President Trump (the only downside to a Speaker Trump is that it would curtail his ability to be campaigning for next year in having to tend to House business).
Yup, the Demonrats may truly regret having assisted 8 heroic patriotic Republicans in getting rid of McCarthy.
The media reported the new Slovakian President ran on an anti-American (read: anti-Plugs the Pedo/Woke oligarchy/Big Sodomarchy) platform. They said that like it’s a bad thing.
They’re down to teenage girls and senior citizens as cannon fodder for the pervert. Now there’s no excuse for the FReeper globalist warmonger seniors not to get over to Kiev to die for their beloved idol.
I would have thought that Jeffries would look for 20 Democrats. The ones who may live in districts that are more moderate and in places like in the Midwest or in the South. Give them permission to vote for McCarthy so he survives.
Someone said that McCarthy made three big deals with Joe Biden and the Biden Administration got everything they wanted while the GOP got almost no concessions each time. And McCarthy had the support of nearly all RINOs. Only the Freedom Caucus was giving him a hard time.
Maybe Jeffries think that a government shutdown would work out for the Democrats because the Republicans will get all the blame. So they were happy to torpedo McCarthy.

That was a great tactical move by Gaetz. I don't think Nancy Pelosi would have made that mistake if she was in charge. She knows politics.
