Gaetz made the right call in leading the ouster of McCarthy. And now, the more that comes to light it reinforces Gaetz actions.
As for Jordan backing McCarthy, I don’t hold that against him. Had he joined with the 8, he would never be able to garner the support of McCarthy moderates needed in order to get him across the threshold to Speaker.
Just food for thought, what if Trump, Jordan and the 8, worked in unison to overthrow McCarthy?

Not sure I'm so excited about his enthusiasm for big wins..."While we need to be realistic about what can be achieved". He's off my list.
I really like Scalise but he is in a battle for his life, he shouldn’t try to take this on now.
“unity” is one of those weasel words that the gutless GOP just LOVES to use ... it means: “cave in to your enemies” ...
His health issues aside, he would likely be a marginal improvement over McCarthy, but I would hope we could do better.
Anyone and everyone that was close to McCarthy should NEVER BE SPEAKER!
As everyone knows, Trump was a big supporter of McCarthy.
The only valuable reason to get rid of McCarthy was if there would have been a secret plan set right from start, where Trump would candidate for speaker of the house. Then this whole endeavor would have been a genius master play.
I would have said bravo.
But, as we now see, Trump isn’t interested about being speaker of the house at all. Thus all this circus, sacking McCarty was truly unnecessary and dumb.
Replacing him with Jim Jordan? Well he is a supporter of McCarthy as well right?
This is a madhouse!
