New York vs Trump [Live Thread, Day 3]

Kangaroo Court Day 3, Live Thread.

President Trump, Judge Engoron, and Attorney General James.

Yesterday the judge apparently disputed that 80% of the charges were cleared, no update or clarity..

Yet, they are still judging Trump based on evidence and not-made charges that are past the statute of limitation?

And still to be answered, will Trump get new attorneys?

Lastly, Trump got his hand slapped and received a gag order for personally attacking a female member of the court. Haven't heard Schumer agree or deny the Trump's charge, but the judge quickly said enough. Trump even pulled down the Truth post. That might be a first.

Okay, let the spectacle begin...

The live cameras outside the courtroom are a bit boring, but when Trump comes and goes he often stops to answer questions or make a statement. Otherwise, the news trickles out throughout the day.

Any overnight or morning posts or comments by Trump regarding the trial? Attorneys?

I’m guessing the questions this morning will be around Republicans wanting to submit his name for House Speaker. This way the mediacrats can find other things on him.

Trump is running for president, should remind them of that, and maybe offer his choice, maybe even one or two. Let Trump be the king maker for the moment. But, can he break his near 100% fail at picking people? McCarthy sure failed.

With Trump's arrival and departure from the court and breaks, he's accomplished constant focus and captive audience to stop and offer a few words on any topic, even answer questions. All virtually free, if you ignore the attorneys and court costs and risks. It is his show.

This is a perfect week for other candidates to take a fall break, go fishing, maybe hunting for a few days.

True- reporters should learn to juggle or do majik tricks for their viewers times when not much is happening. .istening to thr news speculate all day long- saying the same thing 1000 different ways is mind numbing. It’s amazing that they can say so many words that are meaningless in the end as their opinions change nothing g really, and usually miss the mark anyways.

I would visit New York if I could somehow make it worse off legally. Same for Hotlanta.

Count for me, how many “journalists” of the MSM raised the ethics problem of having a trial amidst a Biden VS Trump elections campaign.

But you can be sure that if iden gets drawn into Hunters trial, they will jump on that real quick, discussing the conflict, whine about Biden not being able to get out to campaign.

From what I see, these proceedings are “fruit of the poisonous tree” and should be halted and the case dismissed.

The issue is a threshold issue. Three years ago the government (DA’s office) launched an investigation (”search”) of Trump and his business dealings.

The 4th Amendment, which is not limited to criminal cases, reads, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause...”

Trump and all of us have the right to be secure in our lives and holdings from government intrusion or interference. A government investigation or search requires PROBABLE CAUSE of a crime being committed to launch any kind of search or investigation.

I have yet to see any showing of probable cause especially in the complaint filed in this case. Without a showing of probable cause of a crime being committed, the government search is unreasonable, and thus, illegal, contrary to the 4th Amendment.

To Trump, his advisors and all of us: The Constitution is your and our best friend. USE IT!!!!

Most excellent summation therefore bears repeating.

WAKE UP AMERICA.

I did some cursory reading and I guess probable cause is just about whatever a judge determines. It can even be hearsay. I do know that James piggy-backed on her predecessors’ Trump vendetta, and were investigating the Trump Foundation, for one thing. There was some art work paid for by the foundation, as part of a public record, for example, but displayed obviously in one of Trump’s properties. Maybe some triviality got the ball rolling, and then the financial institutions’ records were subpoenaed, and then the sky became the limits if one i wasn’t dotted.

No, probable cause (PC) is not that flakey.

The government must show evidence that a crime is or was being committed.

That’s the minimum requirement for a warrant or a warrantless search. Yes, there’s wiggle room within that standard, but you have to make a reasonable showing of PC.

In this case, I see ZERO showing of PC. Trump’s lawyers should immediately move for dismissal based on 4A requirements.

Trump: the Constitution!!! It’s your and America’s best freind.
