We can both find issues w Mister McCarthy, agree on that.

My worry is that the Dems can either take over the house (with Mister Gaetz splitting the majority by threatening "or else" insanities), or that the Dems have suddenly gotten even more power, as they can control (to a degree) the new speaker with Mister Gaetz shadow-presiding and looming as the tyrant of the minority.

They don't vote 100% without a reason and with a few plans, one guesses.

You got it right, over 95% of lefty Dems voted to oust McCarthy (202 out of 212 Dems), and some of us think it is a good thing-Gingrich was right -it was childish now some are knocking Gingrich-prior to him and his contract with America, the Dems held the House for 40 years straight-they may be setting themselves up for another 40
