Don’t see this as a Trump loss at all.
McC was warned and warned. Get something done, of else. That was baked into the motion to vacate when they named him.
1)One year and just having “hearings” on impeachment. Trump was actually IMPEACHED twice in a year, once in less than a few weeks. This was unacceptable.
2) The whole Uke funding business was all on McC. He wasn’t instructed to get a 45 day extension. He was instructed to get a budget with no Uke funding.
You keep warning and warning a guy, you need to act. McC never believed they would. We went for a full year in 1859 without a speaker. Get someone MAGA or have no speaker, get nothing done.

One problem with this is that the military won't get paid without a budget. I wish we could arrange it so they'd get paid but the politicians and bureaucrats wouldn't.
