So, would you prefer the status-quo? We’re in debt to our eyeballs. This country is going down the crapper and McCarthy is large part of the problem.

“We’re in debt to our eyeballs.”

*********

Each taxpayers share of the debt is $255,000. That is simply unsustainable.

But wait...there’s more. Well, a LOT more actually. Each person’s share of the nearly $200 trillion of unfunded liabilities is $578,000 per citizen!

I doubt there are many here who are happy with the status Quo. A LOT of freepers have been screaming about the runaway spending since 2017, when we thought we finally had a majority in the house/senate/white house, and could actually cut spending, but instead They all kept spending more and more.

Now we are stuck with a bare house majority, and a democrat senate and presidency, mostly because of our previous President, who did nothing to stop spending. We are NOT going to get what we want, and we are lucky to even be able to generate house spending bills as a starting point, except we have this small group of “republicans” who don’t want to even do that, and want to give the entire government over to the democrats so they can complain more and win more support from all those republicans who got tired of winning.

We didn't get $33 TRILLION in debt overnight. The dems are primarily to blame, but a LOT of it goes all the way back to the Bushes. Yes, McCarthy played along, but as I said, I'm not, nor was I ever a big fan, but it begs the question "Who can unite the GOP, build on the very small majority they have in the House and reduce the debt?".

The ONLY person I can think of that might have a prayer of accomplishing this is DONALD J. TRUMP, but he has previously stated that he didn't want to be Speaker.
