[history]
Kevin McCarthy failed in an initial vote to block an effort to oust him by Rep. Matt Gaetz, putting his position as House speaker in peril.
Gaetz’s "motion to vacate" the speakership will now head for an official vote.
To prevail, McCarthy or his foes will need a majority of those voting, not just Republicans. Typically Republicans can lose no more than four GOP votes on party-line votes when all members are present. Democratic leaders recommended Tuesday that colleagues vote against saving McCarthy.

I am noticing the word UNIPARTY is being used more and more. Sen Ron Johnson used UNIPARTY several times in his Sunday interview with Mark Levin.

YAY! Get rid of the RINOs and Uniparty cucks!
To: CFW
I bet New York City Fox News liberal Sean Hannity is going nuts about his friend McCarthy being ousted.

They are supported by a vast minority of people in this country. They are 15 people out of 400. They should not be running the country.
They are like little babies whining about the unfairness of life. But all Trumpers fail to see the world as it is when it doesn’t go their way.
We are going to lose so badly in ‘24.

I could be wrong but McCarthy will still Speaker when all is said and done and I believe Gaetz will be put of the Republican Conference or lose Committee assignments.
I think this is likely too. There's no obvious Plan B, that'll get old quick. And sooner than later the hammer is going to come down with that Ethics report and no one will admit knowing Gaetz' name after that.

No, it seems like McCavey made too many different promises to too many different groups. We can’t let the status quo continue.

Do Republicans have a quorum? How typical if not everyone is in attendance.

All McCarthy had to do was keep his promises to his Conference.
That’s it.

Before anybody bashes this effort by Gaetz: As Rand Paul has pointed out, this funding of Ukraine is not Constitutionally authorized. Let that sink in; every D and R that keeps that gravy train rolling is completely ignoring our Constitution and their oath.

Idiotically, McCarthy and his team misjudged the House GOP caucus and the GOP base. All McCarthy had to do was to honor the promises he made to become Speaker. Instead, he broke those promises almost from the jump and deliberately antagonized Gaetz and his allies.

Not only that, Liz Cheney has been advising the Democrat leadership in the House to support Gaetz.
How people can stomach this little mincing, Botoxed, bearded sociopath Gaetz is beyond me
