Please explain how Nancy Pelosi worked with Republicans. (other than traitors like McCarthy) or was that your point that McCarthy and Pelosi work well together?
Do the Dems have to work with the Rep-controlled House, which has the power of the purse? Why is McCarthy making all the concessions? What "victories" have we achieved.
McCarthy has considerable power. He isn't using it. If the situation were reversed you can bet a Nancy Pelosi would be asserting her power. All appropriation bills must originate in the House.
And Shumer has a very thin majority in the Senate, 51-49, yet Schumer governs like he has an overwhelming majority.
