I’m surprised you think that about Jordan.
Listening to Mark Levin this evening, he pretty clearly stated that the bill voted down by Gatez et al had substantial cuts in many Federal agencies. Not slow the rate of growth cuts, but cuts. That bill would then be sent to the Senate where conservative Republicans would use to back McConnell up against the wall.
But of course, none of that will happen now.
Gaetz gets one chance to bounce McCarthy from the Speakership. If he fails, he’s going to get stomped.
