Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has raised eyebrows by publicly vowing to deport anyone who comes across the border illegally during the Biden administration if he wins the White House next year.

“Everyone that has come illegally under Biden. We got to go — they’re sending back,” DeSantis said. “That’s going to be the first priority.

“We will hire more Border Patrol agents and more removal agents to make sure that even if illegal immigrants cross, they will swiftly be found and deported,” the website states.

The campaign official provided no further details on how DeSantis will deport the record-breaking number of migrants

Not in English but in Spanish “Illegal” is indeed the term.

Claymores are good, but I’d like a front row seat for the A-10 Warthog runs before they retire them all. A couple of BBBRRRRRPPPPP runs would quickly deter future invaders.

Birthright Citizen thingamajig was intended for black slaves whose parents were forced to come here where the family started.

That should have been an easy change when Trump had a super majority.

Problem is much of what Trump did were EOs that were only valid until the next President came in.

refugee resettlement program is a totally different issue and has nothing to do with the situation at the border. But then again, the same can be said about Seeking Assylum in a third party nation. But Biden is trying to claim it can be done knowing that in the end under the law these people would be desported.

The BIGGEST problem is that the laws already in the books are not boing enforced

Sadly,
He’s saying what we want to hear. There’s no way that he’s going to do this. Even if he wanted to the democrats would block every attempt with lawfare, corrupt judicial processes and blanket media denunciations and demonization’s. I guess he thinks that we’ll fall for anything. I had high hopes for him.

When did Pres Trump ever have a Super Majority? NEVER.

He barely had Congress in his first two years. They gave him his tax breaks, after that all Ryan and McConnell did was stab him in the back.

As for Birthright Citizenship, first and foremost, Congress would have to pass a law about getting rid of something that never really existed. Pres Trump would have to sign it. Then it would work it’s way through the courts.

Do you think there’s a reason he was trying to stack SCOTUS with folks thought to be Constitutionalists? Perhaps to have it settled once and for all?

EOs are how every President works these days because Congress does nothing more than kick the can down the road. They don’t do anything but the bidding of their donors and trade stocks.

And the voters continue to send the same folks back while treating ones that actually want to do something as radical.

So basically you’re saying it’s not possible to deport illegal immigrants no matter who the candidate is

You’re lying and mis-representing what Trump did.

If there was permanent legalization amnesty for daca, post your links where millions of daca were legalized and became citizens.

Trump only proposed deals bartering daca, for building the wall and increased deportations, which never happened.

refugee resettlement program is a totally different issue and has nothing to do with the situation at the border.

How so? All they’re doing is asking for asylum with Mayorkas’ app or claiming refugee status from some unknown, violent situation from the country they’re coming from.

And Pres Trump took care of all of that with the Remain In Mexico policy.

It’s one big scam.

Biden is increasing refugee numbers to over a million. I’ve been in the room at the US Embassy in Baghdad watching these people give some BS sob story. All coached by the liberal chick that worked for the NGO. All the women do is get over, pop out a kid and VOILA, instant citizen and family reunification.

“Congress would have to pass a law”

BINGO! And pissing off half of Congress with nicknames and insults does not get them on your side in support of what you want to do.

If you’re Mark Levin or Rush Limbaugh or a typical conservative republican you can get away with it. A Donald Trump on Fox and Friends can get away with it, but in politics you need as many people as possible supporting you and your cause or nothing happens.

Unfortuinately that’s the case. It’s politics.

Sadly that is politics.

You cannot legally seek assylum from your country to another country (USA) while in a foreign country.

Why? Because you have already escaped the danger and are now in another country (Mexico) therefore you are no longer in danger and not eligible for assylum.

The only thing that needs to be changed is that our government needs to follow its own laws.

Nothing basic, I said it out loud. You can shout about it all you want and stomp around your hat. Still not going to happen. Best he could do is institute a program of deportation upon arrest. Even then, the democrats will unleash their rioting antifa thugs, burn down the inner cities and blame it on the evil publicans. Start more impeachment proceedings while the media runs cover blowing smoke. We’ve seen this movie before. We know what happens.

At some point you need to come to the conclusion that the federal government is corrupted beyond repair. There’s no point in wishful thinking and swallowing a politicians unachievable campaign promise.

Yes...imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Too bad Rob has to copy Trump, and, can’t come up with America First ideas, on his own :- /
...........

May they all copy Trump on the border. It’s not a bad thing. Originality is not important IMHO...deporting illegals is!

The TDS is strong with you, young jedi.

Do you really think that any of them give a sh*t about Birthright Citizenship? Are you that delusional?

Do you think if Pres Trump invited them all over for afternoon tea and talked nice, they would have done anything?

They hated the man the moment they watched ride down the escalator. Hated him even more when he was performing in the primaries. Hated him even more when he was the nominee. Hated him even more when he won. Hated him even more when he started actually working for the people and put a few wrenches into their graft and corruption.

Good Lord.

All but about 8 or 9, in DC, actively conspired to get rid of him. And that’s not including the help they got from about 5 or 6 states.

Hell, the Republican states could dismantle damn near all of it, but they won’t because damn near all of them are RINOs, too.

Rhonda Santis, doing his copy-cat impersonation of Trump once again. This guy is a joke. Does he have any original ideas of his own?

Talk is cheap. DeSantis doesn’t have much of a record for keeping promises example, serving his term as Governor. It will be a difficult and multifaceted process to remove all illegal aliens and it cannot be done solely by the President.

Even were it possible by Executive order Ron would never hold to that promise because his donors want the cheap labor. Some action would be taken but effect would be limited.

It’s a war we CAN win. Look at ny gov Hochul sounding Trumpish on immigration today. DeSantis could implement this plan as could Trump.
