During the last go-round, I wore one of these. Made me look like a bandit or a highwayman.

It was as effective as the dust masks everyone else was wearing (not at all) and got me into the grocery store.

My husband did that exact thing - only with the blue masks - he would detach the bottom two strings and tie them together unseen - so the bottom hung open - took this everywhere including on the airlines.

I had a mask that pulled up that I wore around my neck - approved by the CDC, etc., very easy to use - and was stopped as I was getting on an American Airline, told those types of masks weren’t allowed on the airline - and given a standard blue mask - the flight attendants were going up and down the aisles constantly making sure everyone was “masked up” properly - but they never caught on to my husband.

After that, I found the unmask and used that exclusively.
