DeSantis recently signed eVerify and no illegal drivers licenses in Florida. Immediate result was higher wages for Americans as illegals began leaving. I do wonder if that trend has continued?

Seasonal worker visas make sense but should require paying US wages and benefits transparently not lower rates off-the-books. Beyond that and we get more fraud like H1B.
