British troops could be sent to Ukraine for the first time to train soldiers, UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps has reportedly said
Shapps, who met with the Ukrainian President in Kiev earlier this week, stated that the proposed initiative under consideration is aimed at reducing the UK's and other NATO members' reliance on existing bases.
The training program for the Ukrainian military, supported by ten other nations, has provided essential skills to more than 26,500 recruits. By the end of the year, the program is expected to have trained more than 30,000 soldiers, according to the British Ministry of Defense.
And watching German news yesterday, Zelensky wants to build arms factories in Ukraine rather than having the systems shipped in from the West. I assume he expects the West to build and equip these factories.
