I watched a rerun last night of “The Pink Panther Strikes Again” probably for the 10th time over the decades and my favorite part is where Herbert Lom uses his nasty giant laser weapon and makes the UN building disappear, too bad it’s not real.
Forgot all about that. Targets are important.
Similar to the theater audiences cheering the Independence Day or Mars Attacks blowing up of the White House and Congress.
Or Blofeld in “Diamonds Are Forever,” on the importance of choosing the right target for your death ray: “The satellite is at present over.....Kansas. Well, if we destroy Kansas the world may not hear about it for years.”
