But they also broke into and ransacked the local branch of Lululemon. Yoga Moms everywhere will be appalled.
And while looting can never be condoned, I must admit that I feel like the high end sports-clothing store had it coming to them.
SNIP
At the store in Manhattan, as I was shopping another “customer” was going along the racks using the old five-finger discount. In fact he was just walking around the store pulling clothes off the racks and throwing them over his arm. He had collected a huge pile of stuff. Probably thousands of dollars worth of clothing. Since he was the only other person in the store I asked the nice girl behind the counter why nobody was doing anything about this. She said that there was not much they could do.

Wait, there was looting of a Lululemon store and I missed it!!! For goodness sakes, my kids love this crap and it costs a fortune. I could have five finger discounted this stuff!!!
(disclaimer, I am not serious and do not think looting is ok)
The new trend to refuse to shame overweight people.....

I thought LuLu Lemon was for yoga women. From what I saw, not too many of the looter-girls could fit into a size XL.
Do they make lulu Lemon in 4XL?
If you continue to purchase from those stores, it's actually you who is getting it coming. You are paying and will pay for what they steal in the form of higher prices when you buy from that store.
I don’t know what sizes, but I would guess the majority of women who buy there never go near a yoga mat. Do you remember a few years ago, they were making yoga paints too sheer on purpose?
They have to go to LuLu Watermelon.
AND-——THE HIGHER PRICES PRODUCE MORE SALES TAX REVENUE!!!!
I would seriously doubt any of the thugs stealing this stuff could fit in it.
I was in a Kohls recently and the polo shirt I wanted was priced at $65. I went online and got the same polo shirt for $40.
> I think he is unaware all retail stores have this policy. <
Yep. And in many stores, employees are more than just discouraged from interfering with shoplifters. It’s a firing offense.
And if you get hurt while trying to stop a theft, don’t expect any get-well cards from corporate bosses.
Biden’s America sure is a swell place.
I won’t say I feel like a chump for paying for anything I take from a store or a legit bill, but only because I’m a tent poll for civilization, but my patience is out.
Who is John Gault?
The looters do not have to fit into any of the merchandise. All they have to do is list the goods on sites like Poshmark at, say, 35% of the retail price. Or have a friend set up a good old-fashioned street stand and offer the same discount.
It’s a good deal. And everybody’s happy. Except Lululemon, of course.
I think the solution is to have Koreans own and run these stores. Korean sales clerks, and Korean security guards at the door. Unfortunately, no shotguns allowed behind the counter but swords and knives will suffice. Shoplifting will disappear.
Tee hee
I know how it is. I feel like such a chump paying for stuff when I could just walk out with it. My parents raised me all wrong.
The stench coming off those bubble butts is worse than any landfill on a 90 degree day.
Shrink is also tax deductible.
Take that away and retailers might start to give a damn.
I’m ready to go Gault myself.
