Thus showing he was not a real New Yorker. I worked and lived there for a couple of years in the early ‘70s and observed the character traits I mentioned first hand. It wasn’t every New Yorker, but the majority were as I described. The ones who lived in Manhattan were on average the worst. I especially noticed their undeserved attitude of superiority to everyone who lived outside the five boroughs simply because they lived in “the city”.

Being raised by a NYC dad, I noticed that for the most part, they are very honest, straight forward and sincere. Dad never pulled any punches, he told it the way it is and didn’t care what you thought about it. PDJT reminds me a lot of my dad, my dad grew up in Queens as well. I noted with New Yorker’s of my dads generation, they either loved you like a brother or hated your guts. No middle ground.
