EVs and their batteries have become “assault vehicles”. High capacity batteries must be banned. Nine volt with three AAAs should be the max allowed.
My 48 volt electric bicycle battery that can zoom me along at 30MPH for 25 miles (50 if I pedal at pace) requires careful battery management. They cannot be left charging unobserved. I unlatch it and bring it inside, charging it on the kitchen counter. Do not charge a wet or damp battery casing. The steam will explode the battery. If I’ve been riding in rain, I have a 5 gallon pail of desiccant I shove the battery into for 24 hours before lighting the fuse (charging it).
