OTOH, applying civil asset forfeiture laws would be entertaining.
Hunter was known to be living in California at the time.
And Mendendez having cash, gold, etc., hidden in his house doesn’t prove anything. They must find out 1.) where did the assets come from, and 2) who gave them, and 3) why were the assets given to him? I am sure that this DOJ will come up with some story. OTOH, we know where the money for the Biden’s came from and hopefully they can establish where the money went to, and in what percentages, and what was the money received for.
