I agree, except for the million dollars. Why should they get a million dollars for behaving so badly, while most law-abiding, taxpaying Americans don’t have nearly that much and are struggling?
We can make that million back in a heartbeat. We’d literally save billions down the road on housing, education, SNAP, disability, and correctional facilities and probation/parole. Plus they can use that money to spend on American companies who can build homes & services for them, so the money comes back to Uncle Sam anyway. The U.S. would probably build basic infrastructure and needs for them initially as part of a deal with an African nation anyway.
