LOL, Russians are hilarious. The Baltic countries didn’t “separate from Russia”, they took the first opportunity to break free of their slave masters and run to freedom and the protection of NATO’s umbrella. Russia’s still sore they lost them and will never get them back.

US military forces should maintain a continuous, if rotational, presence in the Baltic states.
we recognize that the Baltic states have primary responsibility for their defense and indeed they have stepped up their own commitments. All will reach the 2 percent of GDP spending target in 2018.
The point is that their best response is not commensurate with the challenge we face.
