Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says he will resign, effective from 5pm tomorrow.

It sounds like an occasion for massive and raucous street celebrations throughout Victoria. Fire up the barbies and let the beer flow.
There’s a stench around the man. In other states, he would have been forced to resign because of corrupt conduct quite some time ago - but Victoria is different. The police may have been protecting him too. There are questions about a car accident he and his wife had where they seriously injured a child on a bicycle as well - where it really does seem the police didn’t follow their normal procedures in investigating. I really wonder if that shoe is about to drop.
But, yeah, we may never know. And maybe he has just decided he’s done everything he wants to do and there’s nothing suspicious about this... but this really is very sudden. And it’s Grand Final week in Victoria - the Australian Football League’s biggest game of the year. It’s the perfect week for somebody to resign while a lot of the media’s attention is elsewhere - it’s difficult for people outside of Victoria to understand just how big the football is here. AFL is basically the state religion.
Who knows.
If something different happens and he actually has something publicly come out that does have traction I’ll be shocked.
But I admit I was shocked that Andy “da groper” Cuomo resigned here in NY.

The fact he was willing to smoke where he could be seen, in retrospect, could be a sign he was planning to resign. It really shouldn’t be a big deal - it’s legal and his own business - but they’ve been very careful stopping anybody knowing for sure for a long time.
That’s usually how most people hold a joint.
Is that what he’s burning?

At least we can speculate that in Australia, this would have a negative effect on a progressive.
Here, the only time it would be a problem for a lefty is if the deep state had decided it was time for him to go because he was hurting the deep state.
Our lockdown leader is looking for four more years and still talking about the 100s of millions he saved worldwide.
He doesn’t say so much about his DACA amnesty, his bumpstock ban and his support for Disney groomers.
He clearly doesn’t even know if a man can become a woman.
This is one tough woman in the EU Parliament speaking on Covid. It’s the attitude we all need to stand up to tyranny.

Good on ya, mates! Pretty much what I pictured in my mind.
Maybe not as happy as I envisioned but that’s understandable and good for them for letting their feelings be known.
Maybe he’s moving to Red China.
