What a lot of people don’t know is that Sean Penn is only part Irish. His father was Jewish and emigrated from Lithuania, so Penn is of Middle European ethnicity w/Lithuania being right next to Ukraine/Russia. Hence his interest in the Ukraine War comes naturally because of his ethnic heritage. His mom was a Catholic of Irish-Italian ethnic heritage.
