Is it time for the DC area to panic and evacuate or just run out and get bread, milk, eggs and toilet paper?
Kind of ironic...
My daughter and son-in-law live just north of Philadelphia.
He had a work conference he had to attend in Tampa, FL, so
my daughter took some days off to tag along and go to the beach.
So they left Pennsylvania to go to Florida,
and while they are gone, PA gets hit with a tropical storm!

Currently sitting on a ship anchored off NYC and waiting to ride the storm out. Our trip to Nova Scotia was cut short yesterday afternoon and our ship sent back to NYC where it’s supposedly safer. Watching the waves get bigger and the wind is picking up...
Been raining pretty hard and steady the last few hours. It’s a bit on the windy side tonight too. I am in NC, I-95 corridor area about an hour from the NC/VA state line.
Do not, as some ungracious pastors do, show me the steep and thorny way to heaven.
I’m a little south of Raleigh. It’s breezy for sure. I just spent $9K on tree removal three weeks ago. Glad I did. There were some huge oaks a little too close to the house.
Moderate wind and rain here in York, PA. No *Warnings* posted yet on local weather stations.

near 20 foot seas off Oregon inlet off the outer banks of NC.
Are you feeling it?
There is another potential storm out there. Any word on that one as far as tracking and intensity goes?
Here at OBX, looks like the main storm went west of us. Probably will be some flooding in low lying areas. Had some rain and a bit of wind, nothing else.
Baltimore is currently getting pounded by heavy rain. We have a flood warning going until Sunday night or so. Fortunately, I’m not in a flood zone. The pounding of the rain on my roof is like a freight train.
