About 30 years ago I had an incident at a bank ATM with 5 hispanic youts. I went to the ATM on a Sunday morning before going to the grocery store. A car at the gas station next door tore out, pulled down the wrong side of the road and pulled up in the handicapped parking directly behind me. They were all teens or early 20s and had identical red bandannas on their heads (like a gang symbol, not covering their faces). I had a concealed handgun, but it was just a Colt Ponylite 380 in my front pocket with limited rounds considering their number. I could hear them arguing about who was going to get me and that gave me the time to grab my card, my money and sprint to my car where I had a Glock 30 (45 ACP) in the glove compartment with extra magazines. They peeled out and were gone before I could get a license plate number. That incident caused me to rethink my carry gun capacity and capability. I don't go anywhere now without gun plus spare mag round count of 12+1 and spare 15 or sometimes two spare 15s.
